Mayor's Statement

Eight years ago I promised a direction to move Whitehall Township into the 21st Century while also keeping taxes low for all of its residents. Over the last seven years, I have worked diligently to make sure that Whitehall continues to be an affordable place to live, work, and play as your full-time mayor.
Whitehall Township is moving along stronger than ever before, even through one of America's worst economic times. It has been my honor to help bring Whitehall through this, coming out on top both financially and as a community as a whole.
II look forward to continuing my work for Whitehall and its residents so that it can see similar success in the future.

The following is a brief snapshot of what has been accomplished and our vision for the future of Whitehall Township.

- Mayor Ed Hozza, Jr.

Named “Mayor of the Year” 2010 by the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce

Title Sponsor Stephen Patterson of TD Bank, presented Whitehall Mayor Edward D. Hozza Jr. the 2010 Mayor of the Year.  The award was from the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and was presented at the Chamber’s Annual Mayors' Dinner.

The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce annually presents a Mayor of the Year award.  This year's honoree is Edward D. Hozza Jr, Mayor of Whitehall Township.

The recipient is chosen for exemplifying good government practices, providing support to the business community, leadership, initiative and community involvement-volunteerism.

The Mayor is not only supportive of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber, but is a member of the Whitehall Area Chamber of Commerce.
